3 High End Fragrances Totally Worth the Money

Even though we are all stuck at home why not smell amazing? The power of scent has always been something that has comforted me over the years. It is crazy how a random smell can transport you back to a fond memory. I know I have a Bath & Body works body spray that reminds me of summer’s in college every time I spray it. I have since graduated from using solely body sprays and am actively trying to build up my perfume collection.

YSL Black Opium is a classic, sexy sent that has become my perfect fancy/special occasion perfume. The bottle is beautiful and to me just screams a night out on the town. The main notes consist of black coffee, white flowers, and vanilla. This was one of my first expensive perfume purchases and I will 100% buy more once the bottle runs out.

The Tom Ford Soleil Blanc is the perfect summer scent. With notes of bergamot, pistachio, and coco de mer it is the perfect mix of light but still sophisticated. I am not sure if it is the hint of floral but there is just something about it that makes me think of summer scents when I smell it. I will admit at first when I smelled it in store I was not 100% convinced but once I wore it for a couple of hours I was hooked!

As basic as it may sound, you just have to mention Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I mean it is an Allure Best of Beauty winner for a reason! If you get this either as a gift or for yourself I think this perfume is a pretty safe bet. With notes of strawberry, violet leaves, and jasmine this fragrance just makes me feel happy and bring me back to the simpler days. In my option this is body spray elevated in the best way. (As you can maybe tell I love a good floral scent.)

I suggest maybe starting with the rollerballs for these scents and test them out if you do not want to commit to the full bottle. You can also request samples from Sephora and try it out for yourself! I have also heard that Scent Bird is a good option for sampling different fragrances.

Fragrances can be expensive but when you find one you love it becomes “your scent” or a source of a memory. What is your favorite high end perfume?
